The Autoportante Company, after training in the best circus schools in Europe and Argentina for years and performing a series of shows around the world (Italy, Spain, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Brasil, Norway, Portugal, France, Germany and Argentina) will provide you with their own valuable physical and scenic experience, transmetting projects of the different talents learnt, to every type of association or group interested in developing individual or group skills in an alternative and diverse way.
The company, during his artistic life, has worked in children at risk institution, migrant reception centres, artistic foundations, schools, groups, private organizations and companies leaders in their sectors.
Circus workshops
Through a dynamic approach based on art as an educational insturment, the Autoportante Company tries to improve averyone´s skills transmitting playful and tecnical elements that allow them to walk a path of learning and self awarness. It´s an inclusive, social, creative and higly communicative activity, which includes elements of dance, drama and gymnastics, requiring a high level of concentration and the will to reach certain exercises.
The course includes several disciplines depending on the needs of the person and the technical possibilities of the place. Some of these disciplines are: acrobacy (handstans and pyramides), juggling, balance and aerial disciplines.
Course of tightwire
The course is aim not only to people who have never stood on a wire, but also to those with an advanced level. Based on the conept of balance as a temporal, unstable element, the aim of the course is the acquisition of the means to handle the imbalance.
During the lessons, we´ll focus on the reduction of muscle cramps, stretching and elongation, the specific physical preparation and respiratory conscience, stimulating posture perception, testing balance on the ground, paying attention to one´s own body axis projected in space and in relation to the wire.
For those people on their first approach we´ll work on the line, the look and and the half turns, with the more advanced ones we´ll focus on the dance, the deboulee, the jumps, the spagats, the fast marches, the rythm and other complex technical elements depending on their level and possibilities.
We will also work in search of movements and personal expression. Students will have the possibility of help in the creation of their personal show.
